Belagavi: Five persons have been arrested during a raid on a bar and restaurant for allegedly selling liquor without permit, here on February 18.
Five persons including Bar owner and manager were arrested by police team led by commissioner Seema Latkar.
Police commissioner said that ‘Top in Town’ bar and restaurant was raided based on credible information that the number of bottles sold exceeded the permissible limit. “The bar used to sell liquor on second and third floor of the building without license,” she added.
A case has been registered against the owner in this connection.
