Belagavi: A day after he was shunted out of the state Cabinet, former minister and Gokak strongman Ramesh Jarakoholi stated that it was the media who spoiled him.
On Sunday morning, reporters from Belagavi met the former minister at his residence in Gokak, where he was playing badminton. Dismissing the reporters, he said that he did not want to speak to them as the media spoiled his image and career.
According to sources, former CM Siddaramaiah had warned Ramesh of consequences if he tries to divide the party.
Ramesh was dropped from the state Cabinet on Saturday based on the recommendation of the Congress high command. He has been replaced with his brother Satish Jarakiholi.
