Belagavi: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh, arrested another accused in connection to the case.
The arrested accused has been identified as Sagar(30), a resident of Ganeshpura in Jyothinagar, Belagavi.
Police have arrested Sagar on the basis of the telephone conversation with Bharath Kurane, one of the accused in Gauri Lankesh case.
According to sources, Sagar had sold his bike to Gauri’s murder accused. Sagar was also active in right-wing organization activities. For further investigation, the SIT has taken Sagar to Bengaluru.
