Vijayapura: Calling both the Congress and the JDS as ‘sinking ships’, BJP leader KS Eshwarappa has taunted that both will meet their end together.
“They both will embrace each other and meet their end. There is no way that they would survive any longer,” said KS Eshwarappa in Vijayapura.
Further, giving the credit to the rebel MLAs for helping the BJP form the government, KSE said: “Nobody wants to be in a sinking ship. That is why the rebels came out of these parties and joined the BJP. We have come to power because of them and now it is time for the BJP to show the rebel leaders their worth. Vote for the rebel candidates in all the 15 constituencies.”
Taking a dig at Siddaramaiah, he said that the former chief minister has a habit of scolding and rebuking people, but he must remember that people don’t vote for speeches, but they vote for work. “It is time people showed Siddaramaiah this truth,” he said adding that each and every leader in the BJP is united and has agreed to the decision of giving cabinet berth to rebel leaders.
Talking about the honey-trap incident, KSE said that the government will initiate appropriate action at the right time. “The names of the leaders is not yet out. None will be spared if found guilty,” he said.
Congress-JDS will die together, predicts KS Eshwarappa
