Belagavi reports its first COVID-19 cases, K’taka’s total now 128

Belagavi: Four new COVID-19 cases have been reported from Karnataka, according to the latest release by the state health department. This brings the total number of cases up to 128 in the state.

Of the four new cases, three are from Belagavi, all of who attended the Tablighi Jamaat meet in New Delhi. These are the district’s first COVID-19 cases.

The details of the new cases are:

Patient 125 is a 75-year-old Bagalkote resident. A detailed investigation into his history is underway.

Patients 126 (70-year-old male), 127 (26-year-old male) and 128 (20-year-old male) are residents of Belagavi who attended the Tablighi Jamaat meet.

There are a total of 114 active cases.
