Yatnal, Katti warn CM BSY over intervention of his son BY Vijayendra?

Bengaluru: Senior BJP leaders Umesh Katti and Basana Gowda Patil Yatnal have reportedly warned CM BS Yediyurappa against his son Vijayendra’s intervention in the administrative matters of the state.

Both of them, as per sources had a verbal dual with the CM in a meeting called by the CM to discuss buget proposal for North Karnataka region.

“If you are promoting Vijayendra and if he is allowed to take administrative decisions what are we supposed to do? We have worked for the party for decades. How long Vijayendra has served,” questioned Yatnal in the meeting.

“Even Vajapayee was holding discussions with all the party MPs every Tuesday when he was the Prime Minister. But we are not able to meet you,” Yatnal said.

It is said that BS Yediyurappa refuted the allegations and also stated that Krishna and Kaveri-his official residence and office respectively are open to Yatnal round the clock.

BJP state unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel was present while several MLAs including major irrigation minister Ramesh Jarakiholi gave a miss to the meeting.
