Bengaluru: A 36-year-old woman died after falling from the ninth floor of a hotel at Marathahalli on Monday evening.
The victim identified as Valliamai, who stays in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, had come to Bengaluru alone. Around 7 p.m., passers-by saw her fall from the building. The police said the victim did not leave behind any suicide note. The police said that her husband is a realtor while their 10-year-old son is a Class 5 student in Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu.
The police checked the number she had entered in the hotel register and contacted her family. They are waiting for the family to reach Bengaluru.
