Bengaluru: Amid reports of the failing health of Siddaganga seer Shivakumar Swamiji of Tumakuru, the district administration constructed 14 helipads around the mutt to enable the visit of VVIPs from across the country.
According to sources in the district administration, since Thursday, the arrival of devotees increased manifold.
VVIPs including the President of India, the Prime Minister and the opposition party leaders are also expected to visit the mutt. “Keeping all this in mind 14 helipads have been built and security has been beefed up across the city. Efforts are being made to provide food for all the devotees,” informed sources in the district administration.
According to the sources, except for breathing issues, the Swamiji is not facing any other problems. “Concern is only the lung infection. Swamiji is active amid medical care,” explained his aides from the mutt.
