Bengaluru: Vaccination drive for the population in the age group of 18 and 44 years has started across the state at 8 am on Monday, May 10. The vaccines will be free for all.
The state government launched the drive after Serum Institute of India (SII) supplied 3.5 lakh doses of Covishield.
On Monday the drive started only in the government medical colleges and selected hospitals. Meanwhile, the state government is administering only second dose of Covishiled to those above 45 years across the state.
Private hospitals yet to start the drive in most parts of the state.
