Bengaluru: A day after a sessions court in the city handed him over to the custody of the Mumbai police for investigation, Ravi Pujari moved High Court seeking relief.
He claimed that he has been handed over to Karnataka police for cases pending in the state, hence he cannot be handed over to any other states.
Earlier, the Mumbai police had approached the court seeking his custody to investigate the murder of a builder in Mumbai and the court handed him over to the custody of the Mumbai police for tend days.
It can be recalled that Pujari was extradited from Senegal in Africa on August 19, 2019. He has been lodged in Parappana Agrahara since then.
Since his extradition to India, Pujari is opposing any kind of investigation by Mumbai police.
Pujari is accused of several crimes in the Karnataka and Maharastra
