Bengaluru: Two working presidents appointed for the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) will take charge today. Their swearing in ceremony to be held in a resort inside the palace grounds in the city.
BTM layout MLA Ramalinga Reddy and former MP R Dhruva Narayan will take charge as the KPCC working presidents. Their appointments were made by the All-India Congress Committee (AICC) recently. Dhruva Narayan is a prominent Dalit leader from Chamarajanagar while Ramalinga Reddy is a backward class face of the party in Bengaluru.
Party leaders including KPCC president DK Shivakumar, former CM Siddaramaiah, Dr G Parameshwar and others will participate in the event.
