Two held for drug peddling by JP Nagar police

Bengaluru: The JP Nagar police have arrested two persons for peddling drugs.

The police have identified the accused as Achunike C Nwafor alias Christin, 30, residing at Ganapathi Layout, Horamavu Agara, and Syed Hafeef, 27, residing at House No. 4/2, 4th Cross, Lalbagh Fort Road, Bengaluru.

According to the police, the accused persons were trying to sell cocaine to the public. The police have seized 6.5 gms of cocaine, four mobile phones, cash, and an Active Honda scooter, and a Toyota Fortuner car from the accused.

The police said that Achunike C Nwafor has been overstaying in the country against the norms.

A case has been registered at JP Nagar police station against the accused under Sections 120B, 465, 468, 471, 474, 419, and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8(C) and 21(B) of NDPS Act and Section 14 of Foreigners Act and Section 5 of Registration of Foreigners Act.
