Twist to the sleaze CD case: Ex minister Ramesh Jarkiholi confesses his role

Bengaluru: In a big twist to the ongoing investigation into the sleaze CD controversy, former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi reportedly confessed that the person in the CD is himself. However, he denied any sexual assault on the woman and said it was a consensual act.

It can be recalled that on March 5, Ramesh Jarkiholi resigned for his minister post after sleaze CD was telecasted on major news channels.

The woman lodged a complaint that the ex-minister sexually assaulted her.

According to the sources, Jarkiholi made this confession at the time of SIT investigation.

The minister informed the investigating officials that the woman first met him seeking permission to video graph in the major reservoirs. Later she started sending messages on WhatsApp. “This is how the friendship began. She met me several times in my apartment in the city,” he informed the officials.

He also made it clear that it is was consensual act and he never forced her.
