Bengaluru: In a shocking statement, former governor, and Congress leader Margaret Alva stated that all the 13 turncoat MLAs, who quit Congress in June/ July 2019 to become ministers in the BSY led BJP government will join Congress in the future.

She stated that all are waiting for a sign from the former CM Siddaramaiah to return to the party fold.

She made this statement in the very presence of Siddaramaih in a seminar organised against CAA and NPR.

“These MLAs joined the BJP in a buy and sale scheme. How long they can stay back in BJP as they went for the money and ministerial berth. Siddaramaiah knows this. Once he signals them, they will return to the party fold,” she said.

It may be recalled that the Congress-JD(S) government at the state collapsed after a few of their MLAs jumped into the BJP wagon.
