Bengaluru: In a heart wrenching incident, a three-year-old girl succumbed to serious head injuries after falling off the bike while riding with her father. Meanwhile, the father has been booked for rash and negligent bike riding. The incident was reported from the Bellahalli village on the outskirts of the city.
According to the Electronic City police, the deceased has been identified as Himanti (3), daughter of Rakesh Kumar, a cement worker.
“On Sunday night, while he was riding with his daughter, the bike skid. Both Himanti and Rakesh sustained injuries. Even though the locals rushed both to a nearby hospital, Himanti succumbed to the head injuries,” said police.
The police registered a case of rash and negligent riding against Kumar, who is under going treatment at the hospital.
