Bengaluru: The DG Halli police registered a case against an unknown TikTok star who allegedly swindled Rs 4 lakhs promising marriage.
The youth alleged that the woman is now threatening him of dire consequences, whenever he demands his money.
The youth had downloaded the app recently and had uploaded his videos. Soon after this, a woman became his friend online and started a conversation.
“Pretending that she is in love with the youth, she proposed for marriage and also borrowed Rs. 4 lakhs from him. Now she is declining to return the money besides threatening him. An FIR has been registered,” informed police.
