Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials have arrested a 42-year-old man with 1.3 kg of marijuana.
The police have identified the accused as Munawar Pasha. The police caught him red-handed while he was waiting for his clients near a mechanic shop at Bhuvaneshwari Nagar in R.T. Nagar.
The police have taken Pasha into custody and are trying to track down the source of the drugs. The estimated value of the seized drugs is around Rs. 50,000, a senior police officer said.
In another incident, the Kothanur police arrested two people and recovered 1.5 kg of marijuana on Friday.
The police have identified the accused as Mohammed Ali, 29, and Syed Jaffar, 21. The police said the accused were peddling drugs in Hosakote and Hegde Nagar. The police are trying to ascertain the source of the drugs.
