Bengaluru: After the Bharatiya Janata Party swept the elections by securing a win in 12 out of the 15 Assembly seats that went to by-polls on December 5, actor Prakash Rai commented on the results in a sarcastic manner.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “BY ELECTION RESULTS congratulations KARNATAKA BACK STABBERS back in action. HOPE it doesn’t BACKFIRE .. You have chosen the disqualified legislators … good … ones’ deeds will decide what one gets in life. It’s just to wait and watch ..#JustAsking”
BY ELECTION RESULTS
congratulations KARNATAKA
BACK STABBERS back in action.
HOPE it doesn’t BACKFIRE ..????????? ??? ??????????…????????…””???????????? ?????””? ???? ?????? ???????????? ???? ????? ..#JustAsking— Prakash Raj (@prakashraaj) December 9, 2019
It can be noted that Prakash Raj, who has been actively criticising the Central government on Twitter with the ‘JustAsking’ hastag, had lost miserably in the 2019 general election when he contested as an independent candidate from the Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency against BJP’s P C Mohan and Congress’ Rizwan Arshad.
