Bengaluru: Newly elected Bengaluru South MP, Tejaswi Surya who is often blamed as anti dalit and anti Ambedkar started his new innings by offering floral tributes to the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar.
Tejaswi on Friday, May 24, visited the Ambedkar statue in Vidhana Soudha and offered floral tributes.
He later tweeted “My first task as MP elect was to pay pranams to my childhood hero Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Born into nothing, he grew to become the most influential scholar – leader of the country. An inspiration for everyone. Let’s infuse fresh energy into his sublime Constitution,” he tweeted.
It can be recalled that in the run up to the polling Congress blamed Tejaswi as anti dalit and asked the people to reject him in the election.
