Bengaluru: Former minister and MLA from Mysuru, Tanveer Sait is still in a critical condition. Authorities, however, have said that he is stable.
It can be recalled that Sair was assaulted by a youth on Sunday night.
According to sources, the state government is likely to release a health bulletin at 4.30 pm pertaining to the MLA’s health.
Meanwhile, the police suspect that a particular organisation is behind the attack. Sources say that the main accused, Farhaan Pasha is an active member of an organisation. During the interrogation, Pasha said that he decided to attack Sait because he is not doing anything to help the poor.
So far, however, no official statement has been issued by the police in this regard.
According to sources, five other persons have been questioned by the police in connection with the incident.
