Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has refused to speak about the rebel activities in the BJP, which is reportedly threatening the existence of his government.
Speaking to reporters in the city, on Monday, BSY said that his priority is to handle the Corona pandemic efficiently in the state and he does not want to pay attention to any other issue.
It is said that a few leaders like Umesh Katti and Basangoud Patil Yatnal had met up with a few leaders from north Karnataka region and had discussed various issues including pressing for BSY to step down from the post of the Chief Minister.
It is believed that these leaders are irked by shortage of fund allocation to their constituencies, interference of BSY’s son Vijayendra in the administrative matters and delay in cabinet expansion.
When asked about the same, the CM refused to comment stating that he wants to concentrate on battling Corona as of now,
However, while revealing that the financial condition of the state is not healthy, he said that he is hoping for more funding from the centre to help the state.
