Bengaluru: With actor/politician Late Ambareesh’s wife Sumalatha Ambareesh announcing her candidature as an independent for the Lok Sabha election from Mandya constituency against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy, the battleground for high voltage politics is all set.
Amid this, Sumalatha Ambareesh has written an emotional letter and posted it on her Facebook account, addressing the people of Mandya.
She has begun her letter by thanking the people of Mandya for believing in Ambareesh and his family and supporting them in every walk of life, especially during the tough decision of entering politics.
Sumalatha has said, “During my toughest times, when there were several questions raised regarding me entering politics and some of them even neglecting me, you all stood by me as my strength and support to face the situation and filled me with confidence to face a heap of difficulties.”
At end of the letter, Sumalatha says, “Ambareesh is always with me and any hardship comes my way, he will guide me and I strongly believe that the people of Mandya too are with me.”
