Bengaluru: A SSLC student returned from Jharkhand to Sirsi in Uttara Kannada to write the SSLC examination. This year SSLC examination will be held on July 19 and 22.
Mohammed Nafees Alam, a student of Government Urdu and English medium school is the student who returned from Garhwa district in Jharkhand state.
Alam had left for his native place four months ago due to the Covid-19 lockdown. To write the SSLC examination he started his return journey on July 7 via Banaras and reached Hubballi in train. From Hubballi he reached the town in bus.
“In our village, most of the people are uneducated. I want to write the SSLC examination and achieve something special in the life,” he told to reporters in Sirsi.
