Bengaluru: The JDS and Congress leaders in Mandya are continuing their war of words. In a scathing attack on the JDS leadership, including Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Congress leader and former minister N Cheluvaraya Swamy alleged that the state government is trying to postpone the Mandya District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd. election as the JDS may not win here.
“The state cooperative department is holding an election for all the milk producers’ unions, except for Mandya. The reason is that the Congress has a strong hold on it and this union is running well. But the JDS is not able to digest this fact,” he alleged.
Attacking further, he stated that it is sad that a party with less than 37 seats is issuing directions to the party which has more than 80 MLAs. “Such things will not happen anywhere else in the world,” he said.
“JDS has not learnt any lessons from their past mistakes. They are continuing to humiliate the Congress activists in Mandya,” he said.
