Bengaluru: The state government issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to start the Anganavadis across the state. This means that they are likely to start before the primary schools.
According to the SOPs prepared by the health department, no children up to the age of three will be allowed.
Only five students will be allowed per session. In the event of more students, they will be allowed in different batches.
Date to start the Anganavadis are yet to be finalised.
RS Pedddappaya, commissioner, women and child welfare department informed that this decision has been taken as per the directions of the Supreme Court.
