Bengaluru: The state budget will be presented on March 5 and media cameras will not be allowed inside the Vidhan Sabha, informed Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, February 14, Kageri said that the rules followed in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were being implemented.
Laying out the schedule, the Speaker said that the Vidhan Sabha session will be held from February 17 to February 31, while matters pertaining to the Constitution will be discussed on March 2 and March 3.
“The Budget will be presented on March 5 and over six legislations are expected to be introduced in the Assembly session. All members of the Assembly should take part in the proceedings,” he said.
