SSLC examination from tomorrow

Bengaluru: Annual SSLC examination for the year 2018 will begin at the 2,817 examination centres in the state on March 23. A total of 8,54,424 students will face the exam this time.

For the first time, the examination is being conducted after collecting the student information through Student Achievement Tracking System (SATS). Hall Tickets was also uploaded online. Students will attend the exam from 14,385 schools, where 1,011 are clusters and 1807 are non-clusters. Among them, 45 centres have been identified as sensitive and 23 are identified as very sensitive.

CCTV cameras have been installed in all the 2,817 examination centres. Police will accompany question paper distribution vehicles and taluk-level guiding officers. As many as 21 state divisional-level officers have been appointed as the District Observers. Under the leadership of DC, in taluk, district-level, 2.043 officers have been appointed as the exam centre observers. A total of 406 DIET lecturers have been appointed as vigilance squad members.

Regional vigilance squads have been appointed for 2,817 exam centres. No staff working in the exam centres can use the mobile phones. Identity cards have been distributed to the staff at different levels, working in the examination centre. Seating arrangements have been made on the ground floor of the examination centres for the physically challenged children.

State High School Education Examination Board Director V Sumangala informed that ‘Help Centre’ will work to clarify the doubts of students and parents. Those who want to call may call to 080- 23310075 or 76, between 9 am and 7 pm.
