Bengaluru: In the upcoming Lok Sabha by-elections to be held on November 3, the elections in the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency will see a truly unique battle, as the sons of three former chief ministers will be contesting this time around.
BY Raghavendra, son of former CM BS Yeddyurappa, will be contesting as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Madhu Bangarappa, son for former CM late S Bangarappa, as a member of the JD(S)-Congress alliance, and Mahima Patel, son of former CM late JH Patel, will be contesting as a member of the JDU.
According to party sources, Mahima Patel and Madhu Bangarappa will file their nomination papers on Monday, October 15.
