Bengaluru: The state home department notified a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the murder attempt on the former minister, Narasimharaja MLA Tanveer Sait.
This SIT will be headed by Mysuru DCP Mutturaj.
The team consists of experts from the crime branch and technical experts.
If sources in the state police are to be believed, the Mysuru police detained 10 persons in connection with the incident. “All of them have been inquired in an unknown location,” confirmed sources.

According to the sources, the Mysuru police sent a team to Kerala to study the murder of three prominent leaders in recent days by members belong to a well-known organization which is active in Karnataka also. “In all three cases, the murder plans are executed by hitting below the neck. This angle is thoroughly studied,” explained sources privy to the investigations.
