Bengaluru: With KT Naveen Kumar, who is accused of murdering writer Gauri Lankesh changing his statements now and then, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) officers wrote a letter to Forensic Science Laboratory of Ahmedabad.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) officers have written a letter to the FSL Laboratory of Gujarat to give a date and time, to conduct a narco-analysis on Naveen. As the accused had agreed to undergo narco-analysis during the court proceedings on March 12, the court also agreed to it.
“We have asked the FSL Laboratory people regarding the date and time, and how many days it may need to complete the process. Once they respond, we will inform the court and take the accused to the laboratory for the narco-analysis test,” SIT officials said.
The SIT team of Maharashtra and ‘Octopus’ (Anti Terrorism squad) of Telangana officers are in the city from past three days. They are collecting information on Gowri’s Murder from SIT SP Harish Pande.
