Bengaluru: After inquiring hundreds of people from various walks of life, on Saturday, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the journalist, activist Gauri Lankesh murder case subjected freedom fighter H S Doreswamy, who is actively engaged in surrendering the naxals to an inquiry at his residence in Jayanagar.
According to reliable sources, this investigation lasted for around one and half hours. “Enquiry was mainly around how naxals were brought to the mainstream, recent visit of two naxals to his residence who wanted to surrender etc,” source said.
H S Doreswamy informed that generally naxals who wanted to surrender used to meet Gauri first. After learning their back ground we used to send the proposal to the state government, he said.
Gauri Lankesh was murdered on Sept 5 by miscreants outsider her own residence.
