Bengaluru: With resentment brewing between Jarakiholi brothers and Lakshmi Hebbalkar in Belagavi, former CM Siddaramaiah has been given the task of pacifying the two rebels.
AICC Karnataka in-charge KC Venugopal requested Siddaramaiah to hold a meeting with both Satish Jarakiholi and Ramesh Jarakiholi and resolve the crisis that erupted in the party Belagavi district unit.
Siddaramaiah assured of holding meeting with all the warring leaders after returning from his Europe tour. Siddaramaiah will start his Europe tour on Monday.
According to the sources, former CM spoke to minister Ramesh Jarakiholi and Satish Jarakiholi and requested them not to issue any statement against MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar. They agreed to wait till his return.
It may be recalled that a sense of hostility has been brewing between Hebbalkar and Jarakiholi brothers and the latter than complained of Hebbalkar trying to supervise them in Belagavi. It was said that the Jarakiholi brothers had even brought the issue to the notice of senior leaders of the state.
