Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has increased the rates for students bus passes. The hike is in the range of Rs 150 to Rs 250.
According to the revised bus fare list released by the BMTC, no changes have been made in the bus pass fare for primary students. The fare for the high school students’ pass, however, has been increased by Rs 100.
For PUC students, the hike has been raised by Rs 150, for professional courses by Rs 250, for engineering students by Rs 240 and for evening college students by Rs 200.
The concession for SC and ST students will remain as it is.
According to the BMTC authorities, the revised bus fare has been published on www.mybmtc.karnataka.gov.in along with the applications.
