Anekal: In a horrific car-truck collision in Ambur town of Vellore in Tamil Nadu, seven people of the same family lost their lives here on Monday, May 6.
In the accident, two children, three men and two women died on the spot.
According to confirmed sources, a Maruti Swift Dezire car had rammed into the truck from behind, leaving no scope for survival.
The registration plate of the car is of Karnataka state and the people in it are known to be from Maharashtra.
The family was returning from the Golden Temple of Vellore when the mishap occurred.
