Seer from Davangere dies due to COVID-19 in Shivamogga

seer M 1672020Shivamogga: A seer from Davanagere died due to COVID-19, here in Shivamogga, on Wednesday.

This is said to be the first death of a seer in the state due to Corona Virus.

Halaswamiji, 56, attached to Rampur Mutt in Honnali taluk of Davangere was admitted to McGann District Hospital in Shivamogga on July 9, however, he died after two days of treatment.

According to the sources, seer was suffering from fever, cold and other Covid-19 symptoms and he had refused to go to the hospital.

However, when his condition started deteriorating, he was rushed to McGann Hospital, where he died after two days.
