Bengaluru: After trying all possible ways to stop people from urinating in public places, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has now decided to hold mirrors at the people who treat public places like toilets!
In a bid to public shame the people urinating in public places, the BBMP has put up large mirrors on the walls!
An eight-feet by four-feet mirror can be seen on the compound wall of ESI Hospital in Indiranagar. This place has been identified as one of the black spots.
When requests and warnings both have failed, the BBMP has come up with plans to put up mirrors in those black spots where images of Gods and Goddesses, warnings and posters on penalty failed.
These mirrors will have QR Codes too so that people can scan and fine nearest public toilets too, reports Bangalore Mirror.
Large-sized mirrors have been installed at KR Market, Indian Express Circle, Coconut Groove, Chruch Street, Jyoti Nivas College and Koramangala.
The BBMP is hopeful of curbing the menace of urinating in public places this way.
