Bengaluru: After losing the prestigious Jayanagar battle, BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa said that the BJP lost the constituency by a small margin, but we don’t blame anyone for the loss.
Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, BSY thanked every voter who cast a vote for their candidate B N Prahlad. “We welcome the decision of people. Our workers and leaders put a lot of efforts in the field. It is unfortunate that we lost by a small margin. It feels bit bad,” he said.
“Corporation members or any other leaders didn’t work against our candidate. We had to use proper tactics against the Congress-JDS candidate. Still, we got 7,000 votes more compared to last time,” he added.
Meanwhile, BSY came down heavily against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy questioning how the CM will rule the state if he witnesses corruption in Vidhana Soudha.
