Bengaluru: After Kerala and Maharashtra, now the Karnataka government has made RTPCR test mandatory for those who arrive from Punjab and Chandigarh.
An order in this regard was issued on Monday late evening. As per the order, the test report should not be older than 72 hours.
According to the authorities, this new rule will come into effect from 6 am Thursday, March 25.
According to the authorities, kids below 2 years of age, death in the families, and medical emergencies are exempted from this mandatory order.
Meanwhile, the KSRTC canceled as many as 270 buses towards Maharashtra as Covid 19 cases are surging in the state.
