Bengaluru: The episode of two MLAs fighting it out in Eagleton Resorts in Bengaluru has brought disgrace to the state. While Congress strongman DK Shivakumar has denied that there has been a brawl, which left MLA Anand Singh hospitalised due to severe injury, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has expressed his dissatisfaction over the incident and said that the episode has left the government embarrassed.
“It is shameful that elected representatives have fought. We ourselves are giving the BJP chances to attack us,” said the CM.
However, going by DK Shivakumar’s statements, even DCM G Parameshwar said that there is no reports on Anand Singh having been attacked by Ganesh. “If such a serious episode had happened, we would have got the information,” the DCM said.
It is clear that Anand Singh was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Sheshadripuram due to head injury, but the hospital staff are claiming that he has not been brought there.
