Bengaluru: On Thursday evening, state revenue minister R Ashoka, who is considered to be a soft spoken leader, sent shock waves across the state for his statement. As per reports, the minister said that India is ready to “delete” Pakistan from the world map.

Speaking during a BJP event at the party’s state headquarters in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, he stated that Pakistan shall be destroyed as it is nurturing terrorists.

He also took a dig at former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy for making “pro-Pakistan” statements. “We only the votes of patriots. If he wants Pakistan’s votes, let him appease Pakistan,” he said.
