Bengaluru: Most wanted underworld element Ravi Pujari, who is facing 90 cases in India including 35 in the Bengaluru city alone has been brought to the city.
He has been kept at Madivala investigation centre. DG IGP Praveen Sood confirmed the news. In a tweet, Sood stated: kudos to team led by ADG Law and Order Amar Kumar Pande. Fugitive Ravi Pujari has been extradited to India. He has been successfully brought to Bengaluru and will be produced before the jurisdictional court soon.
Pujari was extradited on Sunday from South Africa. A special team of the Bengaluru police brought him to the city. Pujari, a mafia don, is from Dakshina Kannada district. He is wanted in over 95 cases of murder, extortion and assault. He is one of the kingpins of Mumbai underworld.
