Bengaluru: Ranjitha, mother of Divya Spandana alias Ramya, chief of AICC social media cell expressed her opposition to leaving the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency for the JDS in the upcoming Lok Sabha byelection.
In her letter to the KPCC leaders, Ranjitha informed that in Mandya, the Congress has more than 5 lakh dedicated workers and if the party does not contest in the election they will be pained.
“I am also a ticket aspirant. Let the party field its candidate. As Loksabha election is a national election, it has nothing to do with the state government,” she said.
