Bengaluru: BJP bigwigs from Belagavi district are camping in New Delhi. On Wednesday, a couple of them met party national president JP Nadda and national organising secretary BL Santosh separately.
First it was Ramesh Jarakiholi, the newly inducted major irrigation minister. He met BJP national chief JP Nadda and Santosh and thanked them for his induction into the cabinet.
According to the sources, Jarakiholi who is nurturing high ambitions is trying his level best to win the confidence of the party national leadership.
Umesh Katti, who is trying to make it into the BSY cabinet met both the leaders along with his brother, former Rajya Sabha member Ramesh Katti. He requested the party leaders to induct him into cabinet beside RS membership to his brother.
All these leaders are meeting union home minister Amit Shah today.
Another leader camping in New Delhi is CP Yogeshwar from Ramanagar. He is also meeting all the leaders, seeking a minister post.
