Bengaluru: With the idea of improving the SSLC pass percentage in the district, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has launched a unique scheme. Under this initiative, all the 107 high schools of the district have been adopted by senior officers of various departments to ensure better SSLC results.
The KSEEB will be holding this year’s SSLC examination in March and April.
According to Ramanagara DDPI MH Gangaramegowda, all the 107 High Schools have been divided into categories and officers have been given the responsibility of preparing the students for the upcoming examinations.
The DPI authorities have said that, as per the project, each concerned officer must visit the allocated school often and help the students prepare for the examination. “They will be in touch with the school teachers with regard to the day-to-day activities and progress of the students. This exercise will continue till the end of the examinations,” informed an officer.
