Bengaluru: Ramanagar police has formed three teams to arrest Congress Kamli MLA JN Ganesh, who is now charged with attempt to murder, and assault on the party MLA Anand Singh. The former had assaulted Singh inside the Eagleton Resort under the influence of liquor, it is said.
According to Ramanagar SP B Ramesh, these three teams have been asked to investigate from different angles. “We have definite clue about his hideout. We will arrest him soon,” informed the SP.
The Bidadi police have registered an FIR against the MLA for assaulting Anand Singh followed a heated argument. According to the sources close to JN Ganesh, he is staying in an unknown place. “He is expected to move a bail application at Ramanagar district court any time, but the party leaders are not with him,” confirmed a close associate of Ganesh.
Meanwhile, treatment for Anand Singh continued in a private hospital of the city. “With swelling around the eyes and face still causing problems, Singh is expected to remain in the hospital for few more days,” informed sources.
