Bengaluru: Ambitious nation-wide Rally for Rivers campaign launched by Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation will enter the Bengaluru city on Saturday. The main event will be held at palace grounds of the city at 5 pm.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be the chief guest of the event, which will be attended by other dignitaries including union ministers Anant Kumar, D V Sadananda Gowda, state major irrigation minister M B Patil etc. Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev will preside over the event.
Jaggi Vasudev has taken up this campaign to protect our depleting rivers. This campaign will cover 16 states and conclude at New Delhi on October 2. On Friday, Rally for Rivers was held at Mysuru city.
