Bengaluru:PWD minister HD Revanna visited the Sringeri mutt on Friday and offered special prayers at the Sharadamba mutt.
Revanna was accompanied by his wife Bhavani, and son Prajwal who will be the JDS candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency.
Revanna arrived on Thursday evening and stayed back at the temple town. “Since Friday early morning he offered various pujas and attended the poornahuti of a special homa. It was a private visit,” informed local JDS activists.
It can be recalled that last week, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, his wife Chennamma, CM HD Kumaraswamy, his wife, MLA Anita Kumaraswamy and son Nikhil Kumaraswamy visited the Sringeri and performed various pujas and homas. Nikhil is contesting as the JDS candidate from the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency.
