Bengaluru: PWD minister H D Revanna warned the Congress state unit against using pressure tactics on Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on all issues including the appointments to the boards and corporations. “If they continue to pressurise us, we may take an extreme step,” he warned.
Speaking to the reporters, he warned that in districts like Hassan, Mandya and others JDS dominated regions, the Congress is decimated. “Still they are looking to share power with the JDS. It is not possible. The party is important than power to us,” he said.
“The CM has the discretionary power to take the final decision on the appointment to the boards and corporations. The Congress can’t force him to sign their recommendation letters,” he said.
