Bengaluru: After several meetings with the Janata Dal (S) leaders and MLAs, pro tem chief minister H D Kumaraswamy in sudden development has met Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy at his residence here on Thursday, July 25.
Speaking to media, after having breakfast with Ramalinga Reddy and his daughter MLA Soumya Reddy, he clarified the reason for his meeting.
Pro tem CM HDK said, “I was not able to speak about his dignity and firmness of standing with the coalition, during my speech before the confidence motion on the floor of the House. He had withdrawn his resignation in support of the Congress-JDS coalition government. Hence, I have come to meet, greet and have breakfast with him.”
Meanwhile he opined, “It is currently tough for anyone to form a government and run it smoothly without any hiccups.”
