Bengaluru: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene, a pro-Kannada group has decided to stage protest in 15 districts of the state against Bollywood actor Sunny Leone’s participation in a New Year’s Eve party called “Sunny Night in Bengaluru NYE 2018”. This is the second protest by the outfit against the star over the last two weeks.
Sene General Secretary, Syed Minaj, said that they want to send out a message. “We all know who Sunny Leone is, she is not an Indian or a Kannadiga. We know her history, we don’t want her to spoil the culture of the land,” said Minaj.
Sunny has done a guest appearance in a Kannada film titled DK in the song ‘Sesamma’. Sunny has a huge fan base and recently a oceanic crowd gathered in Kerala to get glimpses of the star.
